Nimbus attend Global Economic Forum

The inaugural Global Cork Economic & Network Event took place on October 17th 2013 as part of the flagship Cork Gathering, Rebel Week. Brian Cahill , Program Manager of the Mallow Innovation Centre, attended the Global Economic Forum on behalf of the Nimbus Centre.

The “Sons and Daughters of Cork” will be individually invited home to take part in meaningful discussions and receive a greater understanding of economic renewal and job creation, specific to Cork County and City. A detailed forum objective policy, which will include metrics for follow through, will be agreed and implemented by a separate steering committee with a profile chair.

A database of potential members to the Cork Global Network is currently being created from within the Cork Community. The database will consist of the most influential Cork and Cork-connected individuals abroad, all of whom have demonstrated, or would like to demonstrate, a strong affiliation with Cork and Ireland. In addition to the Network potential members, a number of Irish based Cork natives from the business and cultural sectorswill also be invited.
