- Kevin graduated from the Cork Institute of Technology with a BA (Hons) in Multimedia in 2007 and a MA in Media Design in 2009. During this time, he gained valuable experience working as a multimedia developer also (eMedia Interactive Ltd), where he specialized in user-centred design methodologies through to developing 3D medical animations and e-learning courseware for life science companies and third level academic institutions. Kevin began a PhD in 2010 at the Nimbus Centre, Cork Institute of Technology. His research focuses on personalisation approaches for enabling people to determine how they control their environments through gesture interaction methods. At Nimbus, his research and development experience has also been applicable across industry-focused programmes. He has worked on designing and developing innovative interaction and interface solutions across various platforms (single user touchscreen, multi-user touchscreen, tablet and mobile) for Industries within healthcare, training and entertainment technology domains. Currently studying PhD, Technologies for Embedded Computing Centre, Cork Institute of Technology MA in Media Design, Cork Institute of Technology, Awarded by – Higher Education and Training Awards Council and Hochschule Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, 2009 BA in Multimedia, Cork Institute of Technology, Awarded by – Higher Education and Training Awards Council and Hochschule Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, 2007.
